Airports post fair growth for first semester of 2010

Geneva, 9 August 2010 – ACI's Paxflash report for June indicates a global increase in passenger traffic of 8%, confirming a return of demand for air traffic at airports worldwide. International traffic rose by 10.4% driven by strong growth in China, South Korea, Malaysia and Japan, whereas domestic traffic increased by 6.1%. The results for the first semester are equally positive with total traffic rising by 5.9% over 2009 (international + 6.7% and domestic + 5.3%).
